Car was purchased over three years
ago and has many new parts, starting with the engine
compartment, It has the basic 351W with automatic c-4
trans, engine upgrades include edelbrock performer package
(carb,intake, cam) Heddman Headers (long collectors)
down to an H pipe dual turbo mufflers and continues
to the rear and ends at the chrome tips .Replaced rear
valance to accommodate tail pipes and repainted to match.
MSD coil and ignition box, stock distributor with electronic
trigger ,Mustang cast value covers chrome eldelbock
air cleaner with 5" K&N filter . Exterior was
also standard, add ons include rear louvers, spoiler,
front spoiler and functional boss hood scoop, hood was
also painted black, BF Goodrich tires on Mag 500 wheels,
Interior work included steering wheel replaced to a
wood grain style, tach, B&M shifter, Fire extinguisher
,and shoulder seat belts. New carpet for the floor.
Replaced front end upper & lower arms, tie rod ends,
idler arm power steering hoses,bigger front sway bar.
Brake caliper replaced with rebuilds, gas slotted front
rotors new slave cylinder in rear and new shoes.braided
steel lines replaced the old rubber hoses, The Rear
is a 9" Ford with 3.25 gears and a soft auburn
locker, rear sway bar with Shelby traction bars Koni
shocks front & rear.
This car was purchased for my son who wanted a mustang
but wasn't sure which year until he saw a 69 Boss 429
stang in a ford calendar and at that time he was 14
years old, it has been an ongoing project and still
is today, My son now is 17 and is driving the car on
a daily basis. The car still needs work but for now
he's having fun with it, This has been a father /son
project from day one.
